SaturdayOur project consulting session was divided into seminar and lecture series. The Toastmaster members conducted a seminar to entice some students to join their organization. Their organization is into improving one's communication skills and master the art of public speaking. Halfway during the seminar, they have this impromptu speaking session. And guess what, Boggs' name was called. And his speech topic was on who does he like best, Alwina or Darna. Much to the delight of the crowd, he chose Darna over Alwina because of the costume. I took a video of his award-winning (?) speech. All you have to do is request a copy from me. Or drop me an email you just have to add yahoo.com on my cyber name.Most of the class left before the last period. Sumali din kami ni Boggs. We went to Glorietta. I badly needed to breathe in some fresh air from the mall. Fresh scent from new clothes, that is. I bought a pair of slip-ons. I need not be guilty of that since I really need some slip-ons. Most of the shoes I wear to work aren't open-toed. My white sandals, which I've been wearing for the longest time has to retire from all the friction it went through. The straps aren't securely in place anymore.I've been fighting the urge to purchase a new bottle of cream bath from Marks and Spencers. I mentally did a computation of my credit card statement. And that's when I decided na uubusin ko muna yung Waterlily foam bath bottle ko na konti na lang yung contents before buying another one. We bumped into Nilo and Mervyn at Glorietta. And then into Charo. Then, we thought of taking some pictures.Here are some of them:

Just turned 23. Not that young anymore and not too old either. One of the few reasons why she had a good excuse to mess up her life and still get away with it.
She is a self-confessed blog addict. The blog design reflects the total opposite of her personality. She is innocence personified - prim and proper, goody-two-shoes but could turn your life into a nightmare at the least provocation. Nothing is too complicated that her not-so-average mind could comprehend.

I took delight in trivial things. I could cry bucket of tears over light drama flicks while feel-good movies make me feel fuzzy all over. Despite the sheer crappiness of horror stories, I still hate those gory and morbid scenes that will leave anyone with that sick to the gut feeling. I love the sound of the waves crashing into the shore and the heavy downpours on lazy afternoons. Although i'm almost always caught with a bunch of people, I savor moments in solitude--staring into blank spaces, totally leaving the worldly troubles behind and just lingering in silence. I'm a self-confessed bargain hunter. New finds never fail to fascinate me--it make my melatonin levels shoot sky-high.

Corporate girl who commutes from three to five hours on daily basis; started being a corporate slave a few weeks before graduation;
she's been working for two years; just a few months shy of getting that much-coveted MBA degree from an international academe.
