We're just a week away from the Lehman histories' loading deadline. I have to format 58 series with 21 datatypes and I haven't even started yet! This might sound too technical just imagine an excel file with figures reaching 5,000+ lines. I should be in alarm mode and yet here I am still blogging! This project is for our error- sensitive (simply put, they are not very pleased when the output doesn't meet their standards) client to date, Northern Trust. There was a technical issue which was overlooked during our initial project and they were really disappointed with the outcome. Flashback: It was Mark Nagas who first handled Lehman Bond Indices data back in 2003. It was turned over to Mervyn last year when Mark ventured into greener pastures sometime in July last year. From what I could remember, handling Lehman per se was such a headache to Mark and it has been the same thing to Mervyn. I did have my share of that whenever Mark is on leave and the task of doing Lehman would fall on my hands. This morning, I experimented with the Revlon products, which Karen and I bought from MC Depot last Monday. Prices were marked-down. We took a cab to and fro since there was a transport strike for public utility jeepneys. The Colorstay electric pink lipgloss doesn't really blends in well. The result: fuller lips, bee-stung effect. I have to apply just a hint. Last Wednesday night, Rolypoly and I emptied the contents of plum wine bottle, which I got (complimentary) from Grande Island. We had fishballs as pulutan. By the time, I gulped whatever was left from my glass, I felt quite dizzy. It has 10% alcohol content and I'm no alcohol-lover. My record in drinking is too embarassing, if I may add. Nothing close to Dianne Menes for that matter. I stayed for sometime in their house. I can't walk with my wobbly knees. Add to that, I feel like everything is swirling around in blurs. By the time he dropped me, it was 1:30 am. And I'm really in dire need of sleep these past few days. Last night, my officemates decided to grab a snack at KFC. Slightly against my will, amid the constant pamimilit, I gave in na. Ok lang we had fun naman eh. Medyo nagtatampo na kase mama ko lagi na lang ako late. I'll try to get home early next week. Got to get to work. Think of Lehman. Lehman. Lehman.

Just turned 23. Not that young anymore and not too old either. One of the few reasons why she had a good excuse to mess up her life and still get away with it.
She is a self-confessed blog addict. The blog design reflects the total opposite of her personality. She is innocence personified - prim and proper, goody-two-shoes but could turn your life into a nightmare at the least provocation. Nothing is too complicated that her not-so-average mind could comprehend.

I took delight in trivial things. I could cry bucket of tears over light drama flicks while feel-good movies make me feel fuzzy all over. Despite the sheer crappiness of horror stories, I still hate those gory and morbid scenes that will leave anyone with that sick to the gut feeling. I love the sound of the waves crashing into the shore and the heavy downpours on lazy afternoons. Although i'm almost always caught with a bunch of people, I savor moments in solitude--staring into blank spaces, totally leaving the worldly troubles behind and just lingering in silence. I'm a self-confessed bargain hunter. New finds never fail to fascinate me--it make my melatonin levels shoot sky-high.
